Were very pleased that youre interested in finding
out more about Saint Andrews, and wed like to welcome
you into this household of the family of God!
But we also know that the process of finding the right church home
can be more than a little intimidating. It can be hard to get to
know a congregation just by coming to worship on Sunday mornings.
Even when the people are friendly, making real connections can be
a challenge, especially in a larger congregation like Saint Andrews.
To make that process easier, we offer several ways for you to get
to know people here and to find out whether Saint Andrews,
and the Episcopal Church, is the right place for you to deepen your
relationship with God.
Coffee With the Clergy
Every four months or so, we offer Coffee With the Clergy, an opportunity
for you to get to know Saint Andrews a little better. We talk
about the ministries of our church, ways to get involved in groups
and organizations here, and what it means to be a member of this
parish. Its also a chance for you to get to know Fr. Fred,
Fr. John, Deacon Patsy, and Deacon Jim in a less formal setting
than Sunday-morning worship! Contact Fr. John Spicer at frjohn@standrewkc.org.
Episcopal 101
What's the Episcopal Church really about? Find out with Episcopal 101, a chance for newcomers to find out about the church in a safe environment, where questions are welcome and learning happens through conversation. It is also be a great opportunity for longer-term members to get back to the basics of what it means to be an Episcopalian. Contact Fr. John Spicer at frjohn@standrewkc.org.
Groups Small and Large
The way to become part of a church is to become part of a group
or two. Our group ministry is expanding, including home groups
for intimate discipleship, ministry groups for people involved in
particular work within and outside the congregation, affinity groups
for people who share a common interest or a common place in life,
and special-needs groups for people seeking support and healing.

Festival Days
Another great way to get involved is through the festivals and
celebrations we offer throughout the year. To mark major feasts
and seasons of the Church year, we gather as a parish family for
food and fun. Look for festivals to mark All Saints Sunday
in November, Advent in December, Epiphany in January, and Palm Sunday
in April. In addition, look for our Kick-Off
Sunday in September, when our programming for the year begins. Contact Jean Long jeanl@standrewkc.org.
A Listening Ear
If you have particular questions or issues youd like to explore
about the Church, your faith, or your life the Saint
Andrews clergy would welcome the opportunity to talk with
you. Contact Fr. John Spicer at frjohn@standrewkc.org.
