Newcomer Mentors
This ministry will be organized over the summer and begun in fall
2006. Mentors will be assigned to newcomers in the St. Andrew’s
family, to give them a point of contact and friendship as they begin
their life here. Mentors will check on newcomers periodically, making
sure they don’t “fall through the cracks” that
come with life in a large parish.

Episcopal 101
We need parishioners to attend Episcopal 101, both simply to participate
as well as to lead table discussions. The program is an 8-week series
of dinners, videos, and discussions about the basics of the faith,
from an Episcopal perspective. Ideally, the sessions would include
about half newcomers and half longer-term parishioners.
