Sunday School
On the first Sunday
of every month, children join their parents for Family Worship Sunday.
This service is geared for children. Children participate in all
aspects of the service from writing the prayers of the people to
ushering, reading and greeting people as they come into church.
The sermon on this Sunday is also geared for the children.
Sunday school takes place the 2nd-4th Sunday of every month. Sunday
school begins at 10:15am and ends at 11am when children rejoin their
parents in worship at the time of the offertory. This
gives families the opportunity to receive communion together.

3
Years through Pre-K
Children ages 3 years through Pre-K will experience the Godly
Play curriculum. This curriculum is an excellent beginning tool
to teach children about the Bible and liturgical aspects of the
church. Children engage in storytelling and play to learn the bible.
We begin this class at age 3. However, if you feel as though your
child isn’t ready to make the transition to Sunday school
right at age three they are always welcome in the nursery.
Kindergarten
through 6th Grade
Elementary
age kids (grades K-6) are experiencing our new, exciting curriculum
called The Great Expedition, where they’ll experience Sunday
school in a whole new light. No longer do kids meet in the same
classroom week after week; instead, they rotate through different
“workshops” every week. The workshops vary depending
upon theme to theme, but could include art, games, movie, cooking,
story, science and more. Our kids will learn about the Bible
and the Episcopal Church through these fun workshops.
Summer
Sunday School
During the summer months children at Saint Andrew’s participate
in a multi-age Sunday school. This class is for any child age 3
years through 6th grade. This multi-age class begins the Sunday
after Memorial Day and continues until the end of August.
