Support

At St. Andrew’s, you are our top priority!  Our Parish Care ministries are here to support you and your loved ones throughout all of life’s trials. Whether you are recovering from surgery and need a ride to the doctor, are no longer able to keep up with household chores, are coping with the loss of a loved one, or simply would like our prayers – the clergy and a team of committed parishioners are here to help.

Let us help!  No request is too big or too small. Click on your need below and fill out the form. Someone from Parish Care will respond to your request within 24 hours.  If you do not see your need listed below, please email Deacon Bruce Bower (This email address is being protected from spambots. Prayer Request
Whatever your prayer need, finding peace of mind provides a foundation of strength to face any situation. Your request is a sacred trust and is kept confidential. Please note in your description if you DO NOT want your name included in St. Andrew’s weekly prayer list.

Clergy Visit
Our clergy are glad to call on parishioners, providing prayer and support for all situations. Most common are hospital visits related to sickness, surgery, child birth and terminal illnesses. Clergy also visit the homebound or parishioners who are in crisis. In an emergency situation, such as a hospitalization or death, the most direct way to reach clergy is to call the church office at 816.523.1602 and when prompted, press 8 for the priest on-call. If it is not an emergency, you are invited to fill out the form below. Please include any pertinent scheduling information in the request description, including date and time of surgery, hospital name, etc.

Everyday Needs
In His Service is a ministry that connects people who can help with parishioners who need assistance with day-to-day activities.  Whether it’s providing a ride to the doctor, helping around the house and yard, or simply providing companionship to an empty nester – each of us has a special gift to give…time. Please include any pertinent information in the request description, including date and time of need (if applicable), frequency, etc.

Meal Service
The gift of love and food is so appreciated in times of illness and loss. It’s may be a simple thing, but it means so much to families. Our Loaves & Fishes Ministry is made up of a group of committed St. Andrew’s parishioners who enjoy cooking and are eager to prepare and deliver delicious, love-filled meals to you or your family.  Please include any pertinent information in the request description, including any food allergies or preferences, delivery location, etc.
