Nursery

Infants and toddlers (children ranging in age from 0 to 3 years of age) are invited into the nursery for our 10:15am service. Our nursery program is a free service staffed by parent volunteers. We simply ask if you use the nursery, to volunteer just one Sunday per semester. The nursery is located on the top level in Room 209.

Summer Program

During the summer months (June - August), we offer a multiage (preschool-4th grade) Sunday School class. The first Sunday of each month is Worship Sunday.  Worship Sunday is designed to encouraged family worship.  It is our intent that by attending worship as a family, the children will being to feel comfortable with the traditions and rituals that take place during the Eucharist.  The Summer Sunday School class takes place in the Auxiliary Room (Room 105) during the 10:15 a.m. liturgy.

PRE-SCHOOL - third grade

Each Sunday from mid-September through mid-May, children from pre-school through third grade will experience Godly Play. In a Godly Play classroom the children are invited to wonder about God, themselves, one another, and the sacred world around them. Based on the Montessori Method, Godly Play uses a careful telling of scripture in a specially created space in which children are invited to express themselves through shared wondering about the story and a variety of experiential activities of their own choosing. The classes are taught by a faithful, creative team of teachers who are committed to assisting families and children grow in the Episcopal faith.

Fourth - sixth grade

Each Sunday from mid September through May during the 10:15am service, our fourth though sixth graders will experience “Living the Good News”, a guide to assist these students in learning about the basics of the Eucharist and exploring their own feelings about faith through games, art, activities and music.  The classes are taught by a faithful, creative team of teachers who are committed to assisting families and children to grow in the Episcopal faith.

Mid-High

Our 7th and 8th graders will begin a new journey this year. Instead of attending a traditional Sunday School class, each is assigned to assist in a Godly Play classroom.
